Loon Point Resort

Loon Point Resort is located in northern Minnesota on Wasson Lake. It has a Clearwater lake that sits on the 42 acres of forest. The resort offers fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking and swimming for the family. Other activities include volleyball, badminton, basketball, wildlife viewing, fall hunting, hiking trails, skiing and winter snowmobiling.

Seven to ten spaces are available overnight during May 1 through mid-October on a week- or month-long stay. Registered campers have full access to its facilities with showers and trailer parking rates.

Other amenities include an office or gift shop, recreation center, boat launch, laundry facilities, wooden playground, bike loops, group campfires, Internet access, and large accommodations for reunions.

Southwood Resort

Southwood resort is a family run resort along Lake Pokegama. The resort is surrounded by towering pine trees, white birch and sandy beaches. The resort offers 5 clean cabins with decks and garden furniture. Visitors can enjoy water sports and golf, as well as ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and dog sledding in the winter.

The cabins are homely with fully equipped necessities. Extra beds, cots and high chairs are available for families with babies. A 2 night stay is required in high season. Prices are based on the number of occupancy. Therefore, children under 2 are free.
